This was a fun project that was also a 2015 Christmas commission. The client came to me with the idea of lettering her daughter’s nickname on a skateboard to hang on her wall until she was ready to learn to skate. Since the board was already finished and ready to build, I sanded down the space between the lines of the design so the paint would adhere. I used white acrylic paint as a base so the other colors would stand out brightly. Lastly, I added tiny silver stars and glitter for shine and balance and sealed it all off.
